This performance is like a secret box. What you see is not what you touch, and the real thing is something completely different. And there’s more than one secret there: every act has its own story, the first story casts its shadow over the next one and they both are put one into another in the end like Russian dolls.
«The Japanese flavour» is not in the content, but in the form; it is in the pure and strict composition, in intonations, in the slightly delayed rhythm, in the solution of the riddle that makes the audience look at the stage with bated breath as if it were a detective story.
